At VegThisWay, we are on a mission to take snacking back with veggie-powered super snacks that make it easy to get goodness on the go! A humble beginning it was, as a group of four Cal Poly Food Science students (Kaitlin, Sabrina, Sara, & Brittney) embarked on a journey to create a new food product. The sky was the limit, but what better than to create a food product that would encourage the world to eat better and make it easier for them to do so. As product development began, the team found inspiration in their professor who talked about how hard it was to get her kids to eat their vegetables. Kids love their fruit snacks so why not replace all the added sugar and preservatives with vegetables?! Voila! An idea was born and after hours of development the very first batch of veggie leathers were created, what would later become known as the Rawr Bar!
