ABSOLUTLEY the worst ISP I have ever used. My Internet was down for over 2 weeks & had very little support from rude staff.
According to its website, its staff 'live' by the following words "Integrity. Loyalty. Innovation"; as far as I have experienced they have very little integrity (they continually lie); they really don't care if you leave & show no loyalty to me (I have been with them for over 4 years) & as for innovation; there is now member area; you can't tell what your usage is; Invoices are physically mailed & not emailed; you are asked to EMAIL your credit card details to them as they have no way for you to do this on-line.
When the service works; it works well; but God help you if anything goes wrong (which over the last 6 months has been frequent).
Am moving from Veetel this month after 4+ years. I think that says it all!

Chose to go with this company due to they being inexpensive in comparison to Telstra.
1) Internet cut off at time of switch over between suppliers, had to wait a week for new modem, although we arranged with Veetel that this down time would not occur.
2) Modem didn't arrive configured - Overseas call centre Service Tech rude and not wanting to help insisting modem worked - it needed refiguring, they then went on holidays for days so we were down for more time.
3) They don't give credit for overcharge, easily. They won't respond to emails and seem to be "sneaky" with promising credit and it doesn't arrive following month as promised. Asked again, ignored although amount is small, it is the principle. In this context, to add to insisting on promised credit for overcharge, they then have a huge "problem" with basic math and, although reminded, won't respond or add credit, say, "next month".
Seem to be "sneaky" - not the "Australian way" more like treatment as would a third world country try to get away with.

Just to say these guys ‘rock’. Unlike other providers who do not. At 4 am my connection peaked at 16 mbps. The backbone is so overloaded that at 6pm it was 4 mbps. Average was 12 which is cool. Will be spreading the news of their excellent customer service. Well done keep up the good work VeeTel.
