Unfriendly staff, with poor communication skills. Item that was listed for sale with a shipping time of 5 - 8 business days was on back order. No one bothered calling to let me know that the item will not arrive as stated, until I called them to inquire. One month later it is still on back order. We're talking about medical equipment here, and when someone orders this type of thing, it's generally needed As Soon As Possible. PHC states that all this manufacturer's items are on back order, but no one else seems to be having a problem with the manufacturer's inventory. I was able to order it from Amazon at about the same price and it will arrive in 4 days. I thought I was saving a buck or two, but in hindsight, I would have paid substantially more to avoid the aggravation and inconvenience this transaction with PHC-online has caused. A refund was promptly issues upon cancellation, but Buyer Beware. Call them to get a shipping date before you order from them.

Terrible customer service. No regard for the customer needs at all. They are great while taking your money but then they are worthless. I had several discrepancies while waiting on a large order..... and when I was not satisfied with one item on my order they refused to accept a return after spending thousands of dollars.
I do not recommend doing business with this company.

Their customer service is horrible. Orders take forever and they charge your credit card before an item even ships! I am still waiting on a shower commode chair that was ordered online on March 30th, 2013.
Rude attitude and multiple answers to my inquiry for a simple tracking number. Wrong email sent to me stating a ship date and tracking to follow. I never got the tracking number. When I called to inquire I was told quite rudely that the email was a mistake. If I hadn't called, I would have assumed the item was on its way and I would have been waiting at home for nothing!
This company goes along with the low class sub par industry substandard. They have no compassion or understanding for someone who is physcially disabled, all they care about is money seeing how they took 800 bucks from me in a microsecond, but take their sweet time shipping an item.

I purchased a commode and shower bench for my terminally ill father from this website. While they arrived in a reasonable timeframe, by the time they arrived he had declined to the point that they were not of use to us. I inquired with customer service about returning the items (unopened and in their original boxes) and the company refused to accept returns. The customer service manager, while saying "I don't make the rules", refused to connect me to someone higher up in the company to discuss their no returns policy. The website did say the items were not returnable, though I erroneously thought this meant for products that had been opened (which would be fully understandable). I've reviewed other online retailers of durable medical goods, and this no-returns policy does not seem to be an industry standard. You may want to think twice before ordering from this business, and consider another business offering better customer service.

Scott we are dealing with a similar experience with the shipping. They charged my card before the item even was ready to ship! Bad business practice! Demand to speak to the CEO or whoever is in charge- the item is technically defective if your father can't use it!!! Find a local Disability Rights foundation (Disability Rights California is what it's called where I am) and tell them of your situation. Post it on Pissedconsumer.com, contact the BBB, post on Facebook, Yelp and twitter. Anything to get their attention! Don't take no for an answer, we cannot let these companies gouge Medi-Care and our wallets with substandard service and ridiculous prices and policies. Fight the power!
