WOMEN !!! This company bills yearly routine screening mammograms with a code of 77063 in addition to the regular screening code. Many if not all insurance companies will not cover this code as part of the screening. When asked for the codes used in billing your insurance company, they will tell you that they cannot give out the codes used to bill your insurance. This is ridiculous as they are using the 77063 incorrectly as an add on code to make more $$$. Please don't fall for this bogus billing trick-If you do in fact, have a
specific diagnosis or abnormality then it is possible that your insurance company may cover this. Please check your billing for routine mammogram
screenings.

My insurance company paid them 90% and they keep on trying to collect 100% of the bill. I had spent a long time on hold and did two three way calls with them and my insurance company. They are still trying to collect 100% from me. Ridiculous!

This firm is AWFUL. they have owed me a refund for an over payment for 5 months! I have called 20 times. One time it is under research. Next time it has been sent to finance for payment. Next time it was sent BACK to research. the whole problem started when they submitted to the WRONG insurance company in the first place. Managers do NOT return voicemail messages. they refuse to honor discounts they agreed to with the insurance companies until YOU, the patient, PROVE to them that you, the patient, does not owe that money.

I am telling all my doctors, hospitals and insurance company about how awful this firm is and they should choose another provider.

So I cannot see my bill nor can I pay it! the company that uses peryourhealth.com does not send out emails either. OMG

I'm receiving bills from this company. So I was checking my EOB's and discovered that they were billing me for the plan discount. For example on 05/02/17 I had a chest x-ray done. The charge was $30. The insurance paid $25.50. The plan discount was $4.50. According to the EOB my responsibility was $0.00. I then get a bill from Portsmouth Radiological. They billed me for the $4.50. I've received three bills from them. I went through it line by line checking it against the EOB's. They did this for every single procedure. Isn't this insurance fraud?

I would give zero stars if I could.
I got a bill from this company for a CT scan I was having for diagnosic purposes. I verified with my insurance company if the procedure was covered prior to having it. Yet I still got a bill in the mail for an outrageous amount. I called my insurance company, they stated it was denied due to a billing mismatch, they were billed for a routine CT scan not for diagnostic reasons.
I called McKesson, they stated they would rebill it because #1 they had my insurance information in the system wrong, #2 it was billed incorrectly. Fast forward 4 weeks, another bill in the mail for the same amount. Called insurance (billing mismatch again) I called McKesson, they said they would need my dr to refile with correct codes, I dont have my prescription anymore but it did have Diagnostic written on it. DR states to call McKesson as they dont handle billing. DR finally agreed to call the Billing company and call me back. That was Friday, no response as of yet.

this claim was paid on June 12/17 however they put it in for collection xray was done on 1/04/17.
It would be nice if they checked their records before putting a bill in for collection.

These reviews are very informative. I was referred by the VA according to the company and received a bill for an X-ray for $36 dollars. The funny thing is I had x-rays X2 last year and the charge was over $400. Methinks that this is a scam and I will take a wait and see attitude to see just how far they will go to get $36 from me. Thanks to everyone for this input. I am giving this thread five stars for the info provided by all the commenters.

The account number on the mail statement brought up the on-line e-statement showing have a zero balance -- this time noticed the account# has the 1st three numbers different. Checked again as third statement and it does show that the amount is owed on my insurance EOB.

I was billed for an amount that had been paid in full long before by the insurance company. One quick call from my company's benefits manager solved the problem. But if I hadn't thought to check, we would have double-paid. Many people probably do. This is inexcusable.

I was billed for what was paid by insurance. I should never have been billed but did not know this so I began making monthly payments before my insurance company told me I had been billed inappropriately. I contacted Peryourhealth for the 5th time today. I have been told "the check is in the mail" on previous calls. Today I spoke with Dana who placed me on hold (first time this has happened) and when she came back on the line she reported she had physically laid eyes on the check and it was being placed in an envelope for mailing as we spoke. (if I don't get the check I will write another review!!!) BUT, today I want to give recognition to Dana who (unlike all the others) actually provided excellent customer service. She went out of her way to get up, walk to that department and question about the payment. I thank you Dana and you should be recognized by this company for a job well done. You actually know what customer service is all about!! If there were more people like Dana your rating would be much higher.

It is unfortunate that I have to write a negative review about anybody or anything. Be that as it may, I have to write about "Presence Health", also known as McKesson Billing Service. The doctors at my hospital send all of their bills to McKesson, and then McKesson sends the bill to you, without the first names or phone numbers of the doctors.

Dealing with McKesson is a royal pain. You can't get any real information from the ladies who man the phone lines, and they say they have no ability to bargain. If you ask them for an itemized bill, they apparently won't send it (I'm still waiting for the itemized bill I asked for a month ago.) Asking them for *any* information will get you the response, "Sorry, our portal is down." When you ask them when their "portal" will be back up, they'll *invariably* tell you, "Oh, next week." When I tried "next week", I got the same answer. When I asked how long their "portal" has been down, they'll give answers varying from a few days to a week. I couldn't even pay my bill because their "portal is down." That is complete nonsense. I worked in data processing for years, and I know that no company would ever tolerate such behavior. But McKesson obviously thinks they can abuse their customers, which is why they treat their customers the way they do.

When I actually tried to confront one of the phone representatives, she broke down and said, "Look, we're just a bunch of 50 year old ladies here." I can't remember now exactly how I responded, but what I should have said was, "Hey, that is not *my* problem! I'm the one who's paying the bills." It would not have done any good. Arguing with these reps is an exercise in futility. All they do is say the same thing over and over again.

I'm not the most patient man in the world. Insofar as it is possible, I am switching hospitals and doctors. Maybe that will get the message across.

I just got a bill from these people saying I owed $1500 for a procedure that I had almost a year and a half ago!

My insurance approved the procedure so there is no reason why I should be billed for this.

Either it's a scam or completely wrong.

Obviously, I won't be paying a bill like this but now have to contact the insurance company to find out why I would get billed.

Sure would love to see an investigation of such a conspicuously scandalous health care payment service. Sure would like to know my why the healthcare provider chose this farce of a company as a payment service.

I will be notifying my Doctors that I won't be using their billing process after my experience with this inept website or customer service(?). After spending 25 minutes trying to register online I chose to go to the 844 number and was told by the person who answered the phone that she was unable to take my credit card number for payment because the cc department was in a meeting. They would call me after their meeting.
I expressed my frustration that I wouldn't be available at their convenience and they may want to check out their reviews.

After 4 months of online payments, for some inexplicable reason, PerYourHealth suddenly started sending my online payments to a different anesthesiology group in a different part of the state, to a different patient. Neither anesthesiology group understands how PerYourHealth could have made such a gross error (& for the past 7 months of payments), especially as I have to enter in my account number and my alpha-numeric access key before I can make a payment on the PerYourHealth website.

There is NO phone number on the PerYourHealth website or on their billing statement--only their pay-by-phone number, which doesn't provide a customer service number when you call it. A glaring sign that this is a fishy company! However, here is their phone number, thanks to a lot of detective work: 888-442-8447.

PerYourHealth lists the McKesson Billing Agency's phone number as their own number on the Better Business Bureau website--which also has a bunch of complaints listed against PerYourHealth. It's again fishy that PerYourHealth won't list their own phone number anywhere. And in fact, I was lucky to get their phone number from the PerYourHealth representative as she didn't want to give it. She said she doesn't deal with online bill payment errors--yet she had no contact information for anyone who does.

And the McKesson Billing Agency didn't have the PerYourHealth phone number--they could only forward my call; however, the McKesson Billing Agency representative was nice. Here's the McKesson Billing Agency's phone number: (855) 853-7242. (I couldn't tell if the McKesson Billing Agency has a BBB listing with the Better Business Bureau; the representative I spoke with said her office was in Chicago, IL, but I don't know if that's the home office or not. I couldn't find a McKesson in Chicago on the BBB website.)

In the end, at least both anesthesiology companies realize that PerYourHealth made a gross error and they are taking care of it. And I will call the anesthesiology company directly to make payments by phone from now on.

When you speak with your local medical billing office/hospital, please ask the supervisor that they choose another company to handle their billing, as PerYourHealth has MULTIPLE customer complaints and shouldn't be in business. And they might want to reconsider using the McKesson Medical Billing company, too, if McKesson insists on still using PerYourHealth, as I let them know of the many complaints PerYourHealth has.

Not to alarm anyone, but does this entire scenario sound like fraud? A random company sends you a bill. The method of taking your information says that they have your previous claim information, but they want you to provide everything to them from scratch. The risk here is that your personal information and your financial information has now been sent to an unknown company that may or may not have any actual business contacting you.

She informed me that my insurance information was invalid and that I needed to settle up my bill over the phone-today. I informed her that my insurance information was valid and perhaps it was the staff of peryourhealth.com that was incompetent, since all of my other insurance claims using the very same insurance information have been paid. She hung up on me. I'll keep calling back until they know me by my first name.

I do not like how they billed the procedure as 2 procedures when it was only one, but according to my insurance company the billing is correct. I hate paying 3rd party sites.

Poor usability for this website and phone link. Multiple attempts to pay were frustratingly unsuccessful. Account number is 17 characters, which is too long, unformatted, and has extra asterisks and periods. Even the same billing statement listed more than one account number. Very confusing especially when that acct. number is repeatedly refused.

Gaining access to the account only works through a mobile device. Even when inside the account, processing a payment does not work. Ten days after payment was to have taken place, a strong arming collection notice came in the mail from Pacific Coast Credit from Eugene Oregon. Peryourhealth.com can not be contacted to correct the problems they are creating. Unethical business practices and very unnecessarily aggressive.

This is my second and unsuccessful attempt to pay this bill on line. I don't have a lot of time during the day to call in and give the payment over the phone, After several minutes I have had to disconnect. I have also tried this two times... it should not be this hard to make a payment. I want to pay my bill! I wonder how many people go into collections because they could not pay there bill and finally gave up??

Tried many times to pay the bill on my lap top. It did not accept the account number. In fact, it did nothing. Finally after reading some of the posts here, I tried my iPad and it worked. Very frustrating!

I was unable to access the website on my laptop. I tried on my ipad and after several attempts was able to get in and make a payment. What a frustrating process. Medical providers should NOT use this site for their bill pay options! What a waste of time!

Worthless website. Enter a number, it does nothing. It doesn't even tell you it's down, working, not working. You click enter.....nothing, nada zip

Horrible experience every time i try to use his website. What's the point? If i cant log in to make a payment, what's the point of offering that service? Just like another person mentioned, i also tried any variation of entering the account numbers and the key/password they give on the letter. Nothing worked. Useless. A waste of time.

Tried to access my account to remit payment. Would not recognize account#. After several attempts gave up. Can't imagine how anyone can pay their bill. Back to checks & USPS. Would not even give this service a 0 rating.

Does not recognize my account number after multiple attempts, with dash, without dash, with asterisk, without asterisk, with space, without space. Obviously someone at billing is not reading these reviews and their IT dept. has no idea why they aren't getting action on the bill pay format. Wake up PerYourHealth...will advise my medical provider as well.

I could not access the online payment option after trying several times. Called to make payment and was told they did not recognize my account number. So frustrating when all you want to do is pay a bill. After all this...I am going to have to mail a check. What a waste of time!
