I just read an oberserver.com article on Yahoo titled "Bombshell: Clinton Foundation Donor’s Flight from Justice Aided by Hillary Allies" By Ken Silverstein • 03/25/16 9:30am.

First, let me say that I am a Republican and in no way a Hilary Clinton supporter.

I was struck by all the Sanders ads that accompanied this article. Then I saw this in the article: "But the paranoid Tirado, ... paid Venezuelan writers to place stories saying Mr. Raffanello worked for the CIA, Mr. Raffanello told me."

The introduction of this idea that people were paying writers to "place stories" to sway public opinion made me wonder whether this writer was doing the same.

He accuses Tirado (connected to Hillary Clinton) of donating "between $5,000 and $10,000 to the Clinton Foundation". Good grief! $10K! If Ms. Clinton is that easily bought, why are other people Silverstein mentions coughing up $300K+ donations to her family foundation?

Clearly, Ms. Clinton has been involved in some shady deals. But I have no confidence in Silverstein's impartiality when
---1) his conclusions are so often based on a "where there's smoke there's fire" sort of reasoning; and
---2) his article is surrounded by Sanders ads and followed by another article that is complimentary to Sanders.

If observer.com wants to endorse Sanders, it should come right out and put a disclosure statement to that effect at the top of the page. Otherwise, it looks to me like the article is not journalism but simply an undisclosed paid advertisement for Sanders. NOT a favorable introduction to observer.com.
