No idea whether their chairs are any good because the chair hasn't made it to production after months. A catalogue of pretty unconvincing excuses, seriously up pushing the original sale, over charging and contractory information throughout. meanwhile my elderly mum has had two falls. avoid

They delivered the wrong g bed TWICE .what was worse, they brought a recliner bed with a sprung mattress which you cannot have. After much telephoning we agreed to accept the wrong bed and they offered a goodwill payment. Then they did not pay that. We had to chase them up numerous times. Would never deal with them again

My elderly parents, 92,& 83 yrs , bought two, made to measure, rise & reclining chairs, costing thousands of pounds. From the start, all looked good, a nice gentleman came out, went through everything, swatches, measuring ect, order in & paid. Bad points, the delivery, was postponed,& again, & again. Eventually they did arrive, & all was okay. Now the remote, has stopped working, called customer service,3 weeks, until someone can come out, it’s disgusting, for a elderly person who relies on the chair, who is disabled. Tomorrow is the day the engineer, is booked (3 wks) he called tonight ( Sunday at 9pm) & he doesn’t carry any spare remotes, or any parts for it! So looks like another few weeks wait, for a 92 yr old man( my Dad). Trading standards will get my call tomorrow!

In my experience Oaktree Mobility needs to revise the way that customer complaints are dealt with.
An elderly friend of mine purchased a recliner/riser chair from this company and initially my friend was disappointed in the poor performance of the chair functions.
Not having a properly functioning chair to compare the performance with, it was assumed that a "pig in a poke" had been bought.
After six months the chair failed completely. Therefore there was six months of use and enjoyment had been lost and denied.
Oaktree Mobility refused to take the chair back and issue a refund despite several failed attempts by authorised engineers to affect repairs.
I do not consider this company to have any sense of fairness towards it's customers.
What is the purpose of their quality assurance department?

These reviews have helped me decide not to contact oak tree
mobility in any way. I have been wondering why there are no prices on their leaflets, now I know why. In future the leaflets will be left in the shop or stuck in the recycling bin.

I am sorry to have to say that my experience of Oaktree Mobility does not rate it very favourably
The stairlift which I purchased in May 2014 is fine but the problem I have is with the after service. I was quoted one free annual service and subsequent services for £95. When the first of these became due then Oaktree informed me that the service charge had been increased to £175. I was able to get any satisfaction from the company regarding the unannounced increase and was informed that if I had a complaint then I should get in touch with the furniture ombudsman. I wrote a letter addressed to the joint owners expressing my feelings and did not even receive any response. Very unsatisfactory from my point of view.

Late last year I bought a Riser Recliner From Oak tree Mobility for £3,950 yes £3,950 so I expected a very special comfortable chair The day after it was delivered I contacted the Company to say that it was very uncomfortable and not fit for use After several conversations I was unable to pursued them that this chair was unacceptable and that I wanted it to be taken
away They refused this request I am 73 and am very concerned that The Company will continue to overcharge older vulnerable people I have asked for Legal help and they think that I could win a case against their refusal to give me back my money There are no other companies that charge this much money for similar bespoke Chairs At the moment I am thinking of giving this chair away to an old peoples home and going to a reputable furniture Company to purchase a suitable chair i.e. DFS
Their adverts are also make Promises Of £250 for my old chair…not received and Autumn sale of 1/2 price but in small print only if you buys second item

having the same problem found out my disabled mum paid £3900 for her chair with a life time warranty and now they want to charge her £50.00 because the chair is clunking on the way up and then engineer said there was only lose brackets on the back which was through general use.

Amazing isn't it, we used Oak Tree Mobility for my wifes overpriced rise and recliner chair because their letter heads, web and associated paperwork boasts "Your comfort is our strength". What an insult to be taken in by that header having had their engineer visit to look at the complaint regarding the discomfort in the seat only to receive a letter stating that the problem with this 12 month old chair is a Comfort Issue and they would suply new foam for a cost of £139. How comforting is that? Dont touch this lot who charge high prices, offer guarantees then make high charges for inferior designs. We know about 'let the buyer beware' but it's to late when the horse has bolted!!!
