For many years Dance Tango producer and instructor Michael Foster have scaled back heavy promotions of his productions in Dance Tango New York City because of horrendous rumors unfounded by individuals whose business about Michael's personal life is of none of their concerns.
Michael admits to an incident of interest having to do with Juan Pablo a tango colleague. At Dance Tango La Nacional one Thursday Night Pablo basically kicked me out of his milonga, or so would some individuals have to say. No! Pablo and I had a Mature conversation when he shared with me of a particular individual in an email. That individual had contacts acquired from many years at the Lafayette Grill and Bar. That individual was responsible for sending email out to the public about Tango and Belly Dance events at the vicinity.
The individual in question kept the list of email contacts to these Tango Customers, then added any email contacts for example listed on New York Tango Website URLs.
The individual further uses the very email contacts to introduce scandalous stories about persons the individual did not like. Michael Foster was not an only victim of that individual's abusive behavior.
Rick Castro, Anton Gazenbek, Gayatri Martin and others were known to suffer as a result of this abusive behavior of sending smart emails with Gossip information about Professionals in New York Dance Tango purely for attention purposes.
Thankfully Covid Struck a STOP to all the gossips because Tango Paused for a few years.
As we move into 2025 - its fear to say Tango officially in New York City was on vacation for a good 5 years.
