Not sure why all the confusion. My bill came the month after I received service, went on the website to pay and had no problems. This is thee second time I've used the online bill pay with them. Never been directed to call them or had problems on the website given on the bill.

ditto-I'm trying to pay a bill I received six months or more after the service. after holding on the line several times for 30, 40 and 45 minutes each time I hung up. I sent paper checks (twice) each check was returned. now I'm getting collection calls.WTH, Wellstar?

The mailed bill directs me to a web site, where I assumed I could pay my bill at my convenience. That is so wrong, because there is no link to pay the bill. The web site directs me to call a phone number to pay over the phone. How disappointing. This is the same phone number with M-F business hours listed on the mailed bill. What is the purpose of having this web site at all? It serves no function. What a backward system - certainly not up to other web sites that allow me to pay when I am ready to do it. This is certainly enough discouragement to not get lab work done at the doctor's office. In the future I will go to another in-network lab that is less than a mile from the doctor's office for all lab work just for the convenience of an user friendly web site that I use when I paying all my other bills. On the weekend!

I couldn't agree more. Very disappointed to go to this site only to see that it was a waste of time. I take care of all bills on the weekend because i don't have time to sit on the phone during the week. They missed the most important step of creating an online management for patients....convenience!

The phone number provided doesn't work. How interesting and convenient for a pay service who is supposed to help instead of hinder. I'm an accountant and a former owner partner in a Pension Firm. If I did business the way they do business, the IRS would be knocking at the door. In addition, I will turn them over to the IRS for fraud if they continue to send me duplicate invoices. Or better yet, file a complaint with the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of he Currency), who governs this company.

I received a bill in september for lab done in April. I called and asked why I was just receiving now, I was told they did not have all of my insurance information. I replied I have the same coverage last time you billed me. If you received a bill 5 months later you would be upset too. On my previous bill I paid the balance and 3 months later I received another bill with a different account number showing I owed more money. When I called I was told it was for the same bill. When I question the different account number, I was given a very incomplete response.

After my lab work in May, I finally get a bill on January 2nd. Then is said my Final Bill, This was my first Bill!! With the other review, I would not recommend paying this electronically, Poor system of doing business!!!!

Your bill-paying method is ridiculous. Every time a lab visit is made, you assign it a new account number. We get $2 statements, $4.72 statements, and so forth, all with different account numbers. We pay electronically through our banking system and MUST change/edit the account number for each little amount--what insanity! We lumped them all together and paid the bill electronically, and your records indicate that you did not get a payment. I've talked with someone and will check with out bank to ensure the payment was indeed made. I refuse to write a separate check for each of these small amounts. It costs us money to write checks and put stamps on envelopes. You have a date of service. How hard is it to keep one account number per patient and search for the date of service? That's what process others use. I complained to the person I was talking to and asked her to carry my complaints up the ladder. Hopefully your management can take a look at this and revise your system. I'm sure that I'm not the only one irritated by this; I'm just the only one being vocal.
