My uncle purchsed a Model Power HO scale. model train engine through Trainworld, a clearance wharehouse. The engine was not crafted well, didn't run right. Trainworld did not take responsability for what they sold, had to deal with Model Power. (Discovered that Model Power bougt up Mantua product stock, and sell under their name). Paid to send it prioritymail, it was shipped back with a substitute part put on, and still doesn't work. MR blames my uncle and his friends, suggesting they don't know what they are doing. Ridiculous - they have almost 100 years of model railroad experience between them. My uncle has spent almost $1,000 with Trainworld, obviously will no longer be a customer, and i would discourage anyone from buying anything with the Manutua or Model Power name on it.
