I purchased Keruve for my father that suffers from dementia/Alzheiemer's. He tends to wander off, especially as the weather becomes warmer. This watch has given my family a great sense of comfort, knowing that in the event that he wanders off a little further than usual we can immediately track him down.
I also have immense trust in the company and its customer service. Brad has gone above and beyond to make sure I understand the watch's function, features and any other questions or concerns I may have. In addition, the timely reminders to maintain the watch's subscription active was very much appreciated. Most of us have so much to be mindful of when taking care of loved ones, Keruve (Brad), makes sure we stay updated and current.

So disappointed in so many ways with this device. Service support was off the charts horrible. The device never met any of our expectations. A complete waste of money. Anyone reading this, stay away from Keruve. They are an unethical and deceitful organization. This device gave multiple false alarms and the actual capabilities we discovered after months of trials convinced us that this device is literally worthless to alerting you to a wondering loved one. The accuracy requires far to many meters (talking 100’s of meters!) away before notification of a loved one could be alerted. If you live near any traffic, lakes, ponds, forest - you are screwed! But if you have the open plains of say, Kansas with no dangers in the area, this piece of garbage is for you! Completely worthless. And I almost forgot to mention you practically have to charge the piece excrement nearly by the hour. Avoid this device at all cost, hopefully they flame out of business in the near future and stop lying and ripping off people of need.

You are so right!! It does not work the way it’s advertised! We had the exact same issues you did. We got false alarms in the middle of the night. Brad said it’s due to poor cell coverage in the home. The security area was too large for our needs. He told me I couldn’t return the unit because it was past the two week trial period. They would not refund one red cent. Even after trying to get the false alarms to stop. They did say we could go through our home’s Wi-Fi but we still had to “work” on getting the security area smaller than the system’s preset radiuses. DO NOT BUT THIS UNIT. Customer service is scarce at best.

Hi Julie, thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear of your frustration and I can see you are clearly very angered as both of these reviews are from you.

It is true you were receiving false alarms when you first got the system. As you know, this was because you do not have cell phone coverage in your home. We fixed that quickly by using your home´s Wi-Fi. We were very happy to receive an e-mail from you soon after notifying us that we had fixed it and that you were no longer receiving false alarms.

To clarify, the Keruve battery lasts for over 5 days and is accurate to about 1-2 feet just like any standard GPS. You will see this commented in all our reviews.

Many months after using the system, you informed us that basically you needed the system to be a door-exit-alarm system. The Keruve is not a door-exit-alarm system. GPS is not used for that purpose. The Keruve is a GPS system that will find your loved-one anywhere on planet earth within seconds.

I assume you did not realize until many months after purchasing the system that you were looking for an exit alarm system and not a GPS system like the Keruve, especially since you used the Keruve GPS often. I understand how frustrating it may be but honestly, this claim came in after many months of using the Keruve.

We are very sorry that we cannot offer you a refund for a system purchased over seven months ago. However, as we have mentioned many times, we will be able to create a customized security area for any size you wish. Please contact us and we will do this very quickly as we have done for thousands of clients in over 30 countries during our 15 years of operation.

Thank you very much for letting us know your thoughts and we are committed to assisting you to protect your loved one from the dangers of wandering.

We purchased the Keruve system for a new resident in our assisted living facilty. It took some tinkering to make it work for our specific facility but they worked with us and helped us make it a successful product for us. It helped the family and our staff ease their mind that we would be able to track the resident should they escape our building. This product worked as intended for us.

The Keruve watch and table enabled me to keep track of my wandering husband for some eight months before I finally had to put him into assisted living. It was a great relief to be able to find him quickly. The service was excellent.

The only problem I had was that the watch strap latch was difficult to open at first. Also, the strap stretched and deteriorated so it was about to break when I put my husband into assisted living.

I did considerable research before buying the Keruve locating system.
I wanted something that would work anywhere in the world, independent of a cell phone provider.
I also needed a device that my husband, who has dementia, could not remove.
No other system met all my criteria.
I bought the tablet and our first watch several years ago and they have held up excellently.
We traveled all over Central America with it and found that the device accurately located, even in the most remote areas.
I recently purchased a second watch, so that I could always have a watch on my husband, even when charging.
The system allows me to set a security area of any radius. I have ours connected to our wifi, so that I am alerted the moment my husband leaves our home.
I’ve been very happy with the system and have received excellent, ongoing customer service, over the years.
The initial investment may be more than some other systems out there, but because there aren’t any high subscription fees, I am certain I’ve saved money long term, even with the purchase of 2 watches.
I really don’t think there’s another system out there that compares to Keruve.
I’m still very happy with my choice, after 7 years.

After trying out two other watches for my husband, I finally found the Keruve which seems like it is more expensive but it really was the cheapest option since there are no monthly fees, activation fees, contracts or any of the other tricks. What I like about it is the GPS part is actually below the wrist, so the watch part is just a normal really nice watch with hands which is what he is used to wearing. They told me the battery would last 3-5 days and I got over 5 days. Since it is locking, I´m glad he can shower with it since he often does so without letting me know. Customer service was great and in the end I decided to get the handheld receiver which makes it super easy when I have other people watching over him. Thank you!

I purchased this watch to track a patient with dementia. First it is very expensive. Second it does not work. They did appear to try to make it work but ultimately the batterly life is VERY poor. It does not last 24 hours. It does not work on the Verizon network and hence has very poor reception. Additionally it is fragile and breaks easily. The watch has already broken and was several hundred dollars to repair as well as a lot of time. The device has to be shipped back to SPAIN for repair. Last I paid for an upgraded band which broke in about 6 months. No comment from the manufacturer or mfg representative as to how to replace.

This device is a COMPLETE waste of money. Tracking our dementia patient via his cell phone worked much better.

I have never had a worse product experience. The concept is a good one and as an individual trying to keep a love one safe you hear what you want to hear. You want this device to work so badly that you invest time and money and it is an excercise in futility.

Hello Jennifer, I would like to apologize for your negative experience with us. We usually get stellar reviews for our product and customer service, so I am sorry we missed the mark with you. We try to make it clear that the system will not work well in areas with no cell phone coverage as this depletes the battery nor should it be used by those who are adamantly against wearing a watch, pin or belt device. I hope we will do better job when explaining this to future customers. I have tried to contact you many times to offer you a solution and make things right and have not received any response. Please contact us at your earliest convenience. Thank you and I hope all is well.

I purchased a Keruve tracking system. It has a watch and a receiver or you can send message on your phone to a number associated with the watch and it supposed send you a message with the location of the watch. It is quite costly and you have to make sure there is money in an account because there is a fee each time you try to locate. It didn't work for us in rural Colorado. The first time I tried to locate my husband (we were in Arkansas) it showed that he was in Spain. The people I communicated with were always very pleasant. The system was able to locate just a few times over the last 7 months. I've had many many communications documenting the problems. I returned it so they could switch from 2g to 3g. Still doesn't work. When I asked for my money back I was reminded that there was a 15 day return policy and they want me to send it back to change SIM card and try it for 2 weeks and I would pay the shipping $65. It probably works for many, not for us. Use caution

Hi Gayla, I have been wanting to respond to your review for so long, and today I have decided not to put it off anymore.

First, I want to thank you for your nice message about our staff. Our policy is whoever sells you the watch is your customer service person for life. We want to make sure that each member of our team stands by their word.

Regarding your comment about the location showing Spain: Our watches are made in Spain (most of the others are made in China). Before we send out our hand-assembled watches, we do many tests including battery duration and, of course, GPS accuracy. So, when you get the watch, it will show the last location tracked and that will be from our headquarters in Seville, Spain where will do the testing. We sure must have done a lousy job explaining this one and I apologize.

Now, regarding not being able to locate in your area: you are 100% correct. Back when you purchased the watch in September of 2015, we were 2G and it was not always able to locate in rural areas. Since 2016, we only sell 3G systems in the US and we have been able to locate where no other systems can and we will refund 100% of what you paid if we cannot. Since we have upgraded to 3G, this has only happened to me once, in rural Maine, where there was simply no cell-phone coverage of any type. You mentioned that you tried out our 3G system, but this was not with the updated system that uses M-2-M SIM cards (“machine-to-machine”) and the locating ability, even indoors, is remarkable.

Finally, it is true that we are a more “expensive” system on day one. However, the cost of using the system is about $4/month compared with $30-$60/month “activation fess” for other systems that appear “cheaper”. So, after a year, we become about the cheapest. Plus, the Keruve is the only GPS watch in the world that is a normal working watch on the top of the wrist (all others are big and “clunky” watches), it is 100% waterproof, has no buttons so it cannot be turned off, has a locking band and has the longest-lasting batteries in the world and is the system that has been in the market the longest (since 2007!). The Keruve is the official system of law enforcement in several counties of Florida, includes a handheld receiver that connects directly to the watch and requires no technological knowledge and is sold in over 30 countries worldwide. And when you buy the Keruve, you buy direct from the manufacturer and your customer service is handled directly by the technicians who made the watch and have been with us from the beginning.

We sure did not do a good job explaining all of this to you and on behalf of Vision Localization Systems (the maker of the Keruve) we would like to apologize and are here if you need anything and would like to give us another try.

You are absolutely right!!! Do not get this watch cause its simply doesn't worth it. Overpriced, poor quality product. The tablet that comes with it and they charge for it $600 cost barely $50-$60 dollars. The watch itself looks very nice, but it cost $10-15 in any flea market. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Before you purchase it they reply your phone or email right away but if you have a problem, they reply a week later and then stop replying cause 15 days is over and you cant return it. There is a lot of GPS tracking devices on amazon or Ali express for way less then $1500. I don't care about the money that i wasted and the watch doesn't work but i will do everything i can ( and i do have money and people to know as much people as possible about this poor quality overpriced product. I offered them 50 % off to keep the watch only cause i felt bad cause they did a job and they do have to make money. But no answer and as i said this product cost the most $500 not more and only in case it works.
