My sister worked for Rebecca at Greensweep for one month. During this time Rebecca did not treat her with the respect employees deserve.( In my opinions)

To give a quick example. My sister was scheduled to clean a house one day and the client was not there. She waited 40 minutes and was not compensated in any way for her time. She was paid NOTHING for this job. However, in Rebecca's cancellation policy she states:

"Cancellation policy for any booked 1x or intensive clean is 3 hours billed (at $25/hr) for each staff booked.
The Cancellation policy is established to maintain the best staff and to ensure employment standards."

So let me get this straight, the house was charged and yet the employees were not paid? How does this ensure employment standards?

When my sister finally quit she had told Rebecca on the Friday that she was leaving town Monday night and would like to meet Rebecca Monday morning to receive her last cheque and drop off all of Rebecca's supplies she had in her pocession.

Rebecca responded that she would meet and then Monday morning she emailed my sister saying she cannot meet her today (the Monday) and she MUST return Rebecca's supplies in person to Rebecca by Wednesday but Rebecca could not meet at any time Monday.

So my sister had to postpone her trip as getting her last pay cheque was important to her. She agreed to meet Rebecca Tuesday morning. When Tuesday morning arrived Rebecca met my sister at her car collected all her suipplies and then told my sister she would mail the cheque on Friday. (she also said that my sister had to wash some cloths before returning)

I was in the car beside my sister so after this happened I went in to Rebecca's office to clarify that if infact my sister washed the cltohes and met her on Friday she would receive her pay cheque that day.

She said yes and laughed as if I was crazy. I then went on to explain that it seemed like she decieved my sister into thinking that she would receive her cheque today which is why she postponed her trip. ( You have to understand my sister was not withholding her supplies. She had offered to drop them off on Friday but Rebecca insisted she could not meet her before Monday).
Once I had said that I felt like she mistreated her employees and I used the example above about getting paid for the cancelled job but not paying her employees for showing up and waiting. ( I said this without raising my voice or swearing in any way). She snapped, and told me to get out of her office or she would call the police. She also kept repeating “You don’t know”, “You don’t know”. I calmly told her “This is not a Jerry Springer Show”. I turned and starting walking down the stairs to leave. As I was doing so I heard her yell some ugly words.. I came back up the stairs and told her that she could not treat people that way and I will tell as many people as I can.

My sister also complained that Rebecca pokes fun at the state of clients houses during her staff meetings. Hardly professional in my opinion.
