Had my left knee scoped twice and finding only way to wak is with medial uploader. Going up stairs a problem. Tried shot of cortisone few months ago and didn't do much. What next, Dorolane, 60 mg/3ml, one shot.
As told, this is a gel that fills the voids in the knee area. i have a high pain threshold and the injection into the knee really hurt. You can feel the gel going in, then, the pain as it is pushed into. I walked into the office and limped out.
I was told that as you move about, the gel will move and fill in the voids and after moving around, my knee began to feel better, well sort of, still sore at point of injection rest of the day.
Next day, not as sore at point of injection. My wife made the observation as I was doing some work in the back yard, I was walking a lot better and noticed that I could put my left foot completely down when standing in one spot.
I sit with my let extended while watching tv, and no pain. When I get up the pain doesn't seen as bad.
So far, so good. Just hope it keeps progressing this way.
Hope this buys me some time before I will eventually have knee replacement.
