We were terribly disappointed in Dr. Lauren Wecker. We only saw her once. We had terribly painful circumstances that we tried to discuss with her. She seemed detached and unable to appropriate empathic responses to whatever we said. Several days prior to the session she had us fill out numerous forms. The forms had questions regarding the most intimate and painful areas of our lives. After we decided that we would never see us again, I asked her and wrote to her requesting that she return the forms to us.
She was going to charge us $50.00 to read the forms. She told us that we would not need to pay the $50.00, and that she would never read the forms. She told me she would keep them in a locked drawer for 15 years. She refused to return the original forms to us, saying that she would only give us a copy.
Frankly I don't want that kind of personal information in the hands of someone who I do not particularly trust. Since she only saw us once and knew we would never return, it seems only fair that she return those forms to us.
