After ten years of loyalty, I receive this after complaining in the forum about a broken FBX system in their latest 4.9.2 version -- a somewhat veiled threat about receiving poor service because I complained:

One of the developers took some of his own time to ensure that it was quickly fixed. This is not brushing you off or treating the issue as trivial. Once the updated version has been tested and is at the point of being releasable you will have access to the fix. Please bear in mind that posts such as yours are counter-productive in eliciting a similar level of extra commitment in future.***

So, this is what I received when I complained how I had to go elsewhere to find a quick fix to create character expressions. People were upset as this was part of a work pipeline for many folks, including game developers, and there was no work around. There was no way to get an earlier version of DAZ either, as DAZ makes it impossible to get a previous version once you updated. In other words, there was no way to fix this issue once we realized the FBX was broken. As he even admits here, they are NOT going to give anyone a fix until the next version, which could be YEARS from now...(DAZ releases newer version every so often) Meanwhile people who do not have that fix, who use the thing for business are just out of luck. It's one of the reasons I took to another forum to get help (Daz hardly responds to complaints in their own forums without attacking people or acting like they are whiners) .

A threat? To not give me good service--and essentially screw others who may have the same issue as me? How professional is that? They proved my case for me.

They have great products but treat customers like dirt and act like you are the enemy when you are upset about an issue they cause. As opposed to addressing my concerns he attacks me and acts defensive. What kind of business does this? If you want to waste money and have people treat you like crap when you have a legitimate concern, DAZ is the way to go.
