Hello. I've been researching Cambria Doberman Pinschers,in addition to two others. All are very reputable. After having difficulty getting onto a Dobe link (said my email and pass word were incorrect...it was not) I looked for a way to comment. I just read some comments from a couple who were looking for a Doberman pup. Jim,of Cambria Dobes along with Ann accepted a deposit and placed them on a wait list. I feel for this couple but,I believe they are hurt and confused. Prior to mailing in your money there is a contract that is supposed to be read. The young couple must not have read this. Excellent breeders,very ethical breeders they told this couple the truth. This is a depressing and stressful time for the breeders and dogs. You do everything right. You do all the testing and more that is required. It's a lot of work and expense. Then,despite all your efforts something goes wrong and puppies loose their battle to live despite heroic efforts. These are living,breathing creatures. Things can and sometimes will happen. I know some breeders this same thing happened to. They are excellent also (different breed). Lots of people don't understand. These breeders work very,very hard. They have devoted themselves to a breed out of love. It's easy,if you don't know how things work to find fault. I strongly encourage you to give these excellent breeders another opportunity. You would be very lucky to have one of their pups or young dogs (the one offered was show quality and still a puppy). Not everyone gets one you know. Everyone take care. I wish everyone the best. Cambria is very honorable. Becky T.
