I’m Robin, the lead hen of The Coop and as the lead hen, I’d like to say, I’m the ruler of the roost, but it’s not true. Heck, I don’t even rule the rooster of the house. This tiny little flock of five chicks, that we created, rule our entire house. They dictate literally every waking moment.

My husband (Rhett) and I both work full time. We live on a hobby farm and try our hardest to raise these girls right. You can read more about us and our free range chicks here. I plan to use this blog to post about our girls, family, life, parenting and hobbies. As well as tips/ tricks we’ve learned along the way in our Parenting section Product Reviews or in the Tales from the Coop section here.

We’re always focusing on projects around the farm, career goals and new hobbies. I have a soft spot for animals, love anything Farmhouse and amazon primeable (because parenting).

Hopefully when the kids are older, they’ll have somewhere to read all about the trials and tribulations of raising them as well as the blessings. In the meantime… SOS
