I went to look at a used car today (went with a cheque book too - as I had a good idea about what I wanted to buy). The salesperson and the manager kept us waiting for a long time, left us outside in the freezing cold and then refused to let me have a test drive until I promised to buy the car. I have been driving for the last 20 years, have 3 cars and have never ever seen such poor behaviour and rudeness towards a potential customer. When I complained to the manager he just wasn't interested. And all this was not on a busy day - in fact the place was empty - I wonder why!
