I would not advise anyone looking for intelligent conversation or much in the way of looking for tablature downloads. One person who posts his Fakebook imitations of Banjo music pretty much dominates that section of the website. What you will find are a bunch of extremely right wing anti Obama people willing to fight to the death to protect the extreme Republican leaning members.

I tried contributing to the Banjo Holler but was quickly met with hostility and anger that I would dare not bend to their way of seeing the world at large, in other words be totally Right Wing leaning or die. I was also met with equal hostility by a Moderator who calls herself Barbie.

Barbie fully supports the members and their hatred of President Obama. I repeated that I was only interested in fair play conversation, not to support any Political Party. That didn't seem to matter to the head moderator Barbie or anyone on that site.

I then wrote to the head and owner of the site and asked to have my account removed as I found it to be rude and hostile to people who didn't quickly fall in line with its World or Political views. I was quickly obliged by the owner who calls herself Banjo Diva; she most likely wanted me off there as quickly as possible so as not to cause any interference with her treasure, The Banjo Holler.

For those interested in some fantastic banjo and guitar tabs, I would suggest going to the Banjo Hangout.org...You'll find intelligent and open minded members there to talk about everything with regards to music...Jack Baker
