I have fueled at this so called chain of Truck Stops off and on in my 40 years of trucking. I got the new or new to me points card a few months back and started using it. Today I look to make sure before I go in for a shower, and find I have no showers on my card. The reason being because the policy has changed and I would have to buy 1000 gallons of fuel before I am qualified for a shower in a month. Hell that is unreasonable, no other truck stop that I know of has a policy like that. It has always been buy 50 to 75 gallons and you get one free shower. I do not care how many showers they give after buying 1,000 gallons, but when I spend 200 dollars or more I expect a free shower. Most times I do not even use the shower credits but when I need to I expect to have one available when I buy fuel. I guess this is their way of catering to the big companies, just another rip off by Pilot. I will use my points " if they let me" and when they are gone no more fuel at Pilot. Hell they are no more than a damn store with a fuel island, high prices in the store and if there is a restaurant higher prices also. If I am reading or understanding this wrong let me know.
