I have been using H&R Block for over 10 years with no problems. Last year I moved to Alban Ny. Since I've been with the company for so many years I decided to continue to use them. I filed my taxes at the WestGate office in Albany NY for the second time since I moved. This year I received a letter from the IRS for the first time in ten years, made an appointment to see someone at the office. Got to my appointment on time, a very rude representative did not introduce herself, did not ask for my name. Glanced over the letter and told me I need to call the IRS myself because I must have pressed the wrong key or someone did. While I am sitting at her desk proceeded to answer the phone and talk to another customer. I cancelled my standing appointment for the next year. I will no longer be using H&R Block. I paid over $400 dollars for services that were not rendered because my taxes were not filed and I have no peace of mind.
