For 3 months …. 3 months been trying to get gfl to remove a recycling bin and no luck. 3 months!!! GFL… remove the recycling bin that I don’t want! I wish there was zero stars. One star is too generous

I was a GFL customer for many years. Last year my trash collections started getting missed then my recycling. Sometimes it would be three weeks before they would be picked up. I cancelled the service in October of 2021 and requested a refund. I was promised I would receive a refund shortly. They picked up their containers two days later. In December of 2021 I received another bill from them. The woman who was supposed to have closed the account didn’t and now claimed she didn’t know anything about me cancelling. So I provided her with emails showing I had indeed cancelled and where she had emailed me saying she would take care of it. Now in January of 2022 I still don’t have a refund and the head of the AP department claims she just found out about me wanting a refund today. If her claims are true they have an employee that shouldn’t be working there since the previous woman had promised me on three separate occasions she would cancel and issue a refund. She obviously isn’t doing her job. I have heard multiple excuses of why it fell through the cracks including a cyber attack and coronavirus. Somehow through all of this they are still able to bill customers and collect money but they just can’t refund former customer they owe money to.
